Like they were in the first Warzone, sniper rifles are players’ go-to weapon when they need to take down an enemy at ultra-long-range. Thanks to Season 3, sniper rifles are largely able to one-shot-down enemy operators, and season 6 has set some of these weapons apart as the best in the game. With that in mind, these are the top 5 best sniper rifles in Warzone Season 6, ranked from fine to phenomenal.
Before we continue though, it’s worth noting that some of the best attachments and tunings we’ve included aren’t available in ranked. Keep this in mind before going all-in on using one of these armaments.
5. Carrack .300

The Carrack .300 was first introduced in Season 5, but unlike other brand-new additions to player’s arsenals, this sniper didn’t make the biggest splash on arrival.
It had decent damage with good range and high accuracy, but compared to its counterparts it fell somewhat flat. The Carrack .300 isn’t able to take advantage of Explosive ammunition, which prevents this sniper from ever achieving a one-shot-down; an important factor when trading health in Warzone. Paired with its advantage of semi-automatic being completely outshined by the Signal 50 in terms of performance, this weapon really needed Activision’s love to stand out.
That being said, the Carrack .300 still beats out several sniper rifles and with some tuned attachments we can turn this unassuming weapon into a solid pick.
The best attachments and tuning are as follows:
- Muzzle: Nilsound 90
- Recoil smoothness +1.16oz
- Bullet velocity +0.81in
- Barrel: 30″ Flintline
- Recoil steadiness +0.44lb
- Damage range +0.30in
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Aim down sight speed -32.50ft
- Ammunition: .300 High Velocity
- Recoil smoothness -0.56g
- Bullet velocity +8.1gr
- Magazine: 15 Round Mag
4. Signal 50

The Signal 50 has dominated Warzone for longer than it needed to, and Season 6 has finally knocked this weapon off its throne.
Players had to deal with a semi-automatic sniper rifle that had the potential to one-shot-down any squamate, creating a very low counter-play environment. It created a frustrating gameplay loop for the community, and we are glad to see it brought down to a reasonable power level. Make no mistake though; the Signal 50 can still perform and in some cases out DPS the higher spots on this list.
But since the nerfs, it has become less reliable, which justifies the lower placing. With a certain ammunition and increases to its range and accuracy though, this sniper can still dominate Warzone.
The best attachments and tuning are as follows:
- Muzzle: Bruen L40 Kobra
- Recoil smoothness +1.04oz
- Bullet velocity +1.00
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Sprint to fire speed -0.45oz
- Aim down sight speed -51.00ft
- Optic: SP-X 60 6.6X
- Ammunition: .50 Cal Explosive
- Damage range +0.6g
- Bullet velocity +8.50gr
- Stock: SO Inline Stock
3. Victus XMR

Coming in as our bronze medal pick, the Victus XMR has always been a good sniper.
Its solid damage, great range, and good accuracy all serve to show that this weapon is simply great. The problem in previous seasons wasn’t anything about this sniper rifle in particular, but rather that its counterparts are so good that they outshined the XMR.
Now though, things have changed, as the Signal .50 has been taken off its throne and standard bolt-action rifles are the META. This has elevated the weapon to a higher standing, ands makes it much more viable for anyone looking to switch up their loadout.
Since the XMR has such a good base, we’ve chosen some attachments that boost those stats while giving it the damage to instantly down any opponent.
The best attachments and tuning are as follows:
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Aim down sight speed -32.50ft
- Ammunition: .50 Cal Explosive
- Damage range +0.6g
- Bullet velocity +8.50gr
- Optic: Forge Tac Delta 4
- Stock: XRK Rise 50
- Aim down sight speed -3.45oz
- Aiming idle stability +2.23in
- Rear grip: Bruen Q900 Grip
- Aim down sight speed -0.84oz
- Aiming idle stability +0.23in
2. FJX Imperium

The fan-favorite spiritual successor to the 2009 Intervention comes in at 2nd place; but only barely.
This weapon has more damage than most every sniper rifle in the game. This is in addition to impressive handling for a sniper rifle of its class and incredible accuracy. The FJX needs just a little more love for it to take the top spot on our list, and perhaps it can nab it in the future through nerfs to other snipers or by getting some buffs.
The best attachments and tuning are as follows:
- Muzzle: NIlsound 90
- Aim down sight speed -1.40oz
- Bullet velocity +1in
- Barrel: Fahrenheit 29″
- Recoil steadiness +0.50
- Aim down sight speed -0.35in
- Optic: Forge Tac Delta 4
- Stock: RIB400
- Sprint to fire speed -0.66oz
- Aiming idle stability +2.57in
- Ammunition: .408 Explosive
- Recoil smoothness -0.32g
- Bullet velocity +8.50gr
1. MCPR-300

Imagine the Victus and FJX have spawned a sniper baby, and chances are it’d be eerily close to the MCPR.
There’s much more speed than the Victus and more damage than the FJX, meaning it occupies a sweet spot that no other sniper does. Coupled with certain attachments that increase both damage and handling, this monster is set to dominate Season 6 Warzone for the months to come.
Given this, It’s obvious why this sniper rifle has taken the top spot. The FJX or Victus cannot compete, the Signal 50 has caught too many nerfs, and the likes of the Carrack .300 is already a watered-down Signal.
The MCPR 300 is an outstanding sniper, and with a few expected attachments, it performs above and beyond the rest of its contemporaries.
The best attachments and tuning are as follows:
- Muzzle: Nilsound 90
- Aim down sight speed -1.40oz
- Bullet velocity +1in
- Barrel: 22″ OMX-456
- Damage range +0.40in
- Ammunition: .300 Explosive Mag
- Damage range +0.66g
- Bullet velocity +8.50gr
- Magazine: 5 Round Mag
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Sprint to fire speed -0.45oz
- Aim down sight speed -51.00ft
