Destiny 2’s Season of the Haunted introduced a new Dungeon to the game. The Duality Dungeon sends players on a trip deep into the mind of Calus, the opulent emperor who owns the sprawling Leviathan. To begin the Duality Dungeon, players will need to start the A Single Thread quest, and this can be a little bit confusing. In this guide, we will show you how to do it so you can begin the Duality Dungeon.

How to start A Single Thread in Destiny 2

The good news is that this is not a complicated process. All you need to do is go and visit Hawthorne in the Tower and speak with her. New players may not be too sure of where to find her, but she is located near Ikora in the Bazaar area.

To get to the Bazaar, you can spawn in the main Tower courtyard and then go to the right, taking the route between Banshee and the Cryptarch. Following this corridor will bring you to the Bazaar. You can also spawn near the Drifter and then make your way through the corridors and up the stairs, bringing you out right at the Bazaar. To get the A Single Thread quest, speak with Hawthrone and then accept the quest from her.

How to start the Duality Dungeon

When you have the A Single Thread quest, you can open the Director, go to the Destinations tab, click on the Moon, and from there, you will be able to start the Duality Dungeon. The Dungeon is a three-player activity, and while some players will eventually be able to solo it, we strongly advise you to head in with a full fireteam.

If you are looking for more fun things to do during the Season of the Haunted, make sure you track down the locations of all the Calus Bobbleheads that can be found on the Leviathan.
